The Wix 51324 oil filter is too long for my 2013 CK30, and the cover plate will not go on with that filter installed. At Wix Filters - Product Catalog search results it shows Wix 51324 and Wix 51381 replacements for the E620132443 original Daedong filter. The Wix 51381 is also about the same length as the Daedong 620132443, fits nicely on my 2013 CK30 and has about the same bypass pressure as the Wix 51324. The Wix 51381 should be a good replacement since it's directly cross refer3enced in above link. Hopefully this info will prove useful for others who find the Wix 51324 too long to fit correctly. BTW I also learned the Microguard MGL51381 the same filter as the Wix 51381 and is made by Wix for O'Reiley's Auto Parts, and it costs about $3 less than the Wix brand.

I have the same problem with my CK35. the Napa 1324 is 3/4" longer than the Koiti engine oil filter. the side cover will go on, but rubs on the filter. I put a 2" dia. piece of self stick 1/2" neoprene on the filter and all is well.

On my CK30 the cover plate actually put a slight dent in the filter, and I think adding neoprene would just add to the problem, and the Wix 51381 (or Napa 1381) will be a better solution in my case.

Also last fall I had a hole punched in the Wix 57098 hydraulic filter requiring filter replacement plus about 2.5 gallons of hydraulic fluid, and the same thing happened last weekend. I was trying to think of a way to add a protective plate, bracket or something to protect the filter. Has anybody else had this problem or devised a solution to the problem?

I just had my password reset which seems to be random letters/numbers. Is there a way to reset password to one that I choose to make it easier to remember?

After you log in with the self generated password, look at the top center of the page for the gear looking picture that states "My Home". Click that and then look at the left of the page for change email/password.

Your not the first to punch a hole in the filter. Some members have reported hitting the filter hard enough to break the filter mount which can leave you stranded with hydro fluid pumping out. Do a post search. I remember seeing a posting/picture where a skid pan was made. Nothing for just filter protection though if I remember correctly.

Found a post at the second link at Search Results | Compact tractor forums, news, reviews, information. that has photos of skid plates added to a DK40, and the 4th photo in reply #16 there shows skid plate protecting hydraulic filter. I can't recall if my CK30 has a frame piece like the 1 in that photo to attach a skid plate, or maybe that poster added that piece to which to attach the skid plate. Does anybody know if the piece the skid plate is attached to in that photo comes on a DK40 or how it might have been added if it doesn't come on the DK40?

That idea should work if I can find something to attach the skid plate to on the CK30, but I think that skid plate could be improved by having it curve up a few inches on the ends. The incident last weekend I suspect was caused by a rock or piece of gravel was hit by the bush hog blade and launched into the filter causing the puncture, and a skid plate curved up on the ends would have prevented the rock or gravel from impacting the filter.

We may be able to purchase an alternate filter for the T5710-38031 Hydraulic filter soon. The Wix website is showing a cross reference part number of WL10113. I can't find it for sale anywhere on the internet but I am calling Wix customer service tomorrow to see what they say.

I get the same when I search for the older hyd filter version T4620-38032. This is a great development, hopefully it will be available soon. The final filter cross reference.

I was at my dealer's recently picking up filters for my 200 hr service and the hydraulic filter (or trans filter?) was $40 cheaper this time around. Be interesting to see how the prices match up.
