Just ordered an L4330

The dealer had a 4630 on the lot he wanted to move, but had an additional $1,000+ in cost above the 4330 in it and couldn't get down to where that made sense for me. According to tractorsmart.com, the retails on the 4330 and 4630 in hydro transmission are: $21,504 and $23,044 respectively.

That is a really fantastic idea. Are you using the 45 pound weights? Would like to see how you attached the weights.

</font><font color="blue" class="small">( I copied the "easy weight" mounting system and added olympic weight plates on the rear wheels. Ive included a picture. If anyone is interested, I'll explain how it is done. It's really simple and not expensive at all. Besides, it looks good. My 5030 never got light in the rear, even when moving round bales on the spear. My previous 3710 did and I had to add rear ballast. I'm not saying that the 5030 can't lift the rear tires off the ground, it can. It's just that the 5030 and all the new L's are better balanced and use the new single point mount which distributes the weight on the loader much better than the old style.

Just one more postscript on this. I did a little math to compare price to peak torque ratings on the Grand L Series. I think that RaT posted the peak Torque ratings on each of the models and I put it in a spreadsheet and came up with a graph that shows the price value relationship between peak torque and list price. I understand that most people get a better price than list, but the model to model relationship should remain constant. If my data is wrong, please let me know and it can be corrected.
