That's a great thread! Thanks. It really says it all. I miss all those old posters.

I wish I could say the same. But follow that thread and see all the negative talk and bashing that went on in those days. That's why I searched around for another forum to join at first. I was tired of getting jumped on if you said anything. Everyone bashed you if you didn't have an original import. I do miss a few of those old posters I saw. All of those guys were a wealth of knowledge but most threads got downright nasty. And I personally don't miss those days.

That doesn't mean it can't be made to run good again. The reason why the VN chose those Yanmar tractors is the same as why all of us love them. They are simple machines, and way overbuilt. Easy to repair and parts are available. Get it going and your grandkids will be using it.
