Hello all. Looking for some advice on a John Deere 430. The power steering control valve is leaking, and also has less than responsive steering sometime one revolution of the steering wheel to get any movement from the steering cylinder. I was wandering if anyone has ran into this issue and if so what was the fix. Thanks in advance.

I'd guess the garden variety, as IIRC the '59-'60 had steering assist so a free spin without movement wouldn't happen.
But will be good to clarify which.

Sorry about that. The garden tractor. I always forget about there being two models. Lol. I have read a couple articles on the steering valve in the 430's having that issue from time to time. I don't think it was a major issue with them. Just something people have ran into from time to time.
