Does the suspension on the seat have an adjustment? The Milsco seat on my 955 has a nut on the front of it that adjusts the preload on the suspension springs. Nowhere in the manual did I find any mention of how to adjust the seat, but by tightening that nut, it puts more preload on the springs and prevents bottoming out on all the but the hardest of jolts. To little preload and the suspension will bottom out from just sitting on the seat. It's a trial an error approach.... too much and the suspension becomes too rigid.

Do yourself a favor and get a Kubota BX. They are the best sub compact tractor. My buddy has one. It is nice.

Concerning the problem of just being able to move the FEL one function at a time. I have to have the RPMs over 2800 on my 2320 before I can lift and curl at the same time. I don't know what RPMs are recommended for your 1026R but it might be something to try. Good luck getting your problems resolved.
