to bleed a NEW pump leave the inlet port loose and use compressed air to blow into the vent hole until you get a good fluid out the loose fitting. tighten it up and put a bit more air in there and open up the outlet port some. Wiring on these are bad as noted so keep looking for Wiring diagram. JOHNSTRACTOR site has older ones (2002 to 2005 ish) but not sure what years those span.

the pressure relief valve the tighter you turn it IN (righty tighty) the higher the pressure will be. they are also easy to put together wrong or drop/miss parts. That means if you have it tightened down then you may have it assembled wrong if the pump is working correctly.

Below is a copy of wire colors and numbers on a Jinma 284.
Also here is a URL for an excellent wiring schematic that RonMar did:

Thank you so much all the support is awesome I'm one to to always return help I wish you guys lived I would have all of you over for beer and pizza... Spiker i will have to read and read your instruction on how to pull this off im more of a hands on kind of guys pictures :) diagram :) the oil i used pic attached this is what the hydraulic store told me i should use once they reviewed the type of tractor i have IMG_20150510_0622081.jpgIMG_20150510_0622481.jpg

ISO68 might be a little thick for Canadian winters. Viscosity is comparable to engine oil between 20W and 30W. It will work, but you'll have to be patient on cold mornings while the fluid warms up/thins out. ISO46 is a little thinner, about 20W. But if you plan to use the tractor 12 months of the year, I'd go with ISO32. It's 10W equivalency is thin enough to flow in all but sub-arctic conditions. For that, there's ISO5.

I would use AW32 hydraulic oil as it has better cold pumping properties. I accidently put AW46 in the hydraulic instead ot the AW32 and boy what a difference it made. I ended up draining the system and refilled with AW32. I wouldn't use anything heavier unless I was to replace the hydraulic oil each fall (my 554 system takes 12 litres).
The gaskets you mention should be available in Princess Auto hydraulics section. Whether they have the right size is another matter.
Given the concerns about over pressure, I would advise adding another external relief vale and a pressure gauge to show system pressures while working the tractor. You can get a momentary pressure spike and end up splitting the pump casing - it happens with out warning and happened to me. That is the reason I have both fitted - the FEL relief valve does not protect the hydraulic system as a whole.

Here are a couple of foto's that show what I mean re relief valve.

That is great doxford will have this added to my system for sure and as for the fluid I will get what you recommended I dump that fluid out waiting for parts so better apply all the best example such as yours and others on this forum... from what I'm reading about my setup 2000 psi should be the max i should have in my lines.

Yes, 2,000 psi is about right. Am attaching picture or pressure gauge situated right on the FEL upright, by the loader control valve - where you can see what is happening.

That is good Doxford, did you have a spare hole in the valve or you drilled one and tap after?

Spool Valve.jpgI notice I do have possibly spare input on my valve....
