Backhoe JD790 witha backhoe

Does any have experience with the #7 backhoe on the JD 790 tractor, and would you recommend it on this size tractor? I will be doing light landscaping and small tree removal. Any advise would be helpful.

I think you'll be happy with it. I have a Woods 650 on a JD750, which is roughly equivalent, just 14 years older, thats all ":^)

I find it to be a good match, and continue to be amazed at the work it will do, even after all these years.

Mark, I don't have one but hope to add a #7 to my 790 in the future. JDs quick attach system is a real plus. You mentioned light landscaping and small tree removal. That's probably the appropriate thinking for a #7 hoe. I plan on the same. If you were planning some heavier work you may be disappointed.

There are a couple of members with a 790/7 combo. Hope we hear from them as well /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif
