JD 8a backhoe on a 790 tractor ???

Does anyone know if a 8a backhoe can be mounted and should it work on a JD790 mid-size tractor? Or is the 8a too big to be safe?

I do not have a second set of remotes on the tractor so I would probably use a pto hydrallic pump. Thanks.

This link to JD parts may be helpful to you as it appears to show the different parts to the 8a. Didn't look to see if there were any in particular that mated to the JD790.
