Going to look at one in two days, wants 15200 for this and a lot of attachments. Anything I should look for when inspecting tractor?
Just make sure everything works and looks good. Here is the online operators manual if you want to read up on it before going to look. OMLVU13193_H2
Does it have the 430 Loader or 420?
They are fairly light tractors. You have to use a weight on the back to load the loader or it will pick the rear tires off the ground.
Thank you, the manual is great I will study it, the only number I see on loader is 500X?
I can't find that loader model anywhere. Ask the seller if he has a manual for it.

Not much too it. I think there are several manuals for it. The base and hydraulics.
Yup, 300x Loader. That style is still in use today.
On the right hand console, there is the amber trouble light. Make sure it is not flashing any codes. Otherwise usual stuff. Look for leaks. Make sure the 4x4 actually engages and works. the loader should lift the front end off the ground. Make sure the PTO engages. Check coolant for oil and oil for coolant. Check the front axle oil.
How many hours? Ask when the hydraulic oil was last changed and did they do filters and clean the screen in the sump.
The 300X loader is the smaller one and the 420 replacement. the 300CX is the heavier 430 replacement. As long as you are ok with the 300X capabilities then it is a good loader. I think it is rated for about 900 Lbs.
I'm not really sure on prices these days, but seems like they are creeping up on these machines.
Same loader on a 4210. Your 4310 hoses are routed incorrectly. View attachment 638013
It's the right loader for the tractor.

It is a 300X loader. It looks like a "5" because there is a little piece of the fret from the hose protection wrap hanging down. The 500 series loaders are for the larger tractors.

hmm, something to check out. Thats why I love this place,
Are those hoses on a check valve or is there a valve you need to close to reroute them?
Absolutely. Glad you posted...no one else believed me LOL.
