JD Bush hog question

I have an opportunity to purchase a resonably priced little used 48" JD bush hog mower for the back of my new 3032E, How practical is this for use as a leaf mulcher as my property is heavily wooded with oak trees, will the rough terrain and occassional rocks destroy the mower

Brush hogs do not mulch very well, but rough terrain and rocks are what they are for.
