Hi there, I just picked up a JD 855 for a shamefully low price. It needs some work but for the price I couldn't pass it up. My neighbor has the same tractor and was looking at it with me, we saw that the front axle spindles had a lot of slop in them. Looked at a parts diagram and I am inclined to think the bearings are shot. I was hoping one of you great tractorbyneter's could help me out with the Tech Manual pages, and any tips for changing the bearings. Looking at the Parts breakdown it didn't look to bad.
