I have been looking for the most hp in the smallest package, primarily for chipping. The local JD/Mahindra dealer just advertised in stock 790s for $13,899 which puts it into the same price range as the Mahindra gear 2615.
Is the 790's 3ph really maxed out, as JD info seems to read, at 815 lbs at the 24" point ? Chippers in the 6" range run 600 -900 lbs and even a Kubota 7510 can lift 1300 lbs.
The 2615 lifts more and has a 48 month 0% that makes a backhoe affordable.
Thanks
