Fill port is behind the seat on the top of the transmission/rock shaft. Orange cap.

Another update on the 755, my brother and I were able to successfully re-install the hydro-trans yesterday. We ended up using a make shift lifting eye and used the ROPS to hoist it up, my brother lifting and I was underneath guiding it. It was a bit tricky getting it in there but after about 30 minutes, we succeeded. After that, we were able to get the drive shaft installed and the MFWD link sort of installed. We still need to get the pin hole to line up on the MFWD and will have to jack the front end in order to get it aligned and the pin re-installed.

After that, it's pretty much adding the Hy-Gard, checking the rest of the fluid levels and then doing a start up on it. What do you guys recommend for start up procedures since its been sitting a while? The tractor was last running to my knowledge at the end of November of 2016. Is there a way to prime some of the hydraulic lines and hydro transmission? And do you think I need to purge the fuel tank and add new fuel in it since its been sitting? Would just adding some fuel and fuel treatment be okay?

And lastly, I was underneath the tractor and there was a hose coming down from the front. Do you guys happen to know if this is for? Here's some a pic of it and the trans installed.

Given the long outdoor storage it might be prudent to drain the fuel and be sure of no water. Fit a new fuel filter too.

Hydraulic lines should self-purge upon start-up.

With the seat base and floor off now is a great time to grease that driveshaft UJ shown in your picture. (The joint with the loose clamp bolts. Make sure you tighten them asap.)

The 'pipe' hanging down could be the engine breather tube. Follow it upwards and confirm it connects to the rocker cover breather?

So far - so good...

Thanks for the feedback, do you recommend the whole fuel filter assembly or just the filter (cylinder)? Reason I ask is, I picked up just the filter part today and will have to order the whole assembly.

You may have already stated but did you have the hydro apart or the charge pump off? If so I would disconnect the fuel solenoid and turn the engine over with the starter until the charge pump has built some pressure.

No, no.. Just the filter element. Pleated paper thingy. Install with the hole in one end upwards. It fits on the stub in the top of the housing head and will stay there while you fit the bowl and screw-ring over it.

I have seen several fitted upside-down. (Don't ask...)

Okay cool, I should be good to go with just the filter then. I'll be working on it over the next week and will post questions if I have any.

@texasranger - I didn't end up taking the hyrdro apart and left it pretty much in tact so the charge pump didn't come off. Should I still do what you recommend if that's the case? The upgraded hydro shaft with the castle nut and pin wasn't installed due to poor planning on my part. The technical manual stated to use a hydraulic press which I don't have so we just went with the screw and washer that the previous owner had put on it. I'm hoping it will last another 20 years and by then I might have a new tractor. :)
