The second picture suggests 3/16 for the plate thickness. The sixth one shows the tab height. I don’t have a picture of the bracket against the blade but I think it touches the blade just a little above the pivot. I will be gone till Sat or Sunday. I can look then and take more pictures if needed.

Hey Sno! Hope you had a great holiday! Thanks for those pics! Theyæ±*e awesome! I could use some interior pics of the bracket to see how it sits against the plow and some measurements outward toward the tractor. That should be enough to construct one. Of course in New England we are getting a snow storm today into tmrw, so I値l be using the bucket to move snow this time, but hopefully I can get a bracket made sooner than later with those pics! Thanks again!

I hope these help. One shows they bent ears out on the sides that the blade rests against when pushing. Let me know if you need more. Hope you got that snow moved. It missed us, but there was plenty 150 miles south.

Hey Sno! Hope the holiday was good!! So I知 starting the fab on the blade support, and I could use a measurement. I need the distance from the backside of the plow to the bracket. I知 trying to mark the hole for the bottom pin and make all my holes off of that. So I could use the distance from the plow backside to the bracket at the top, mid and bottom. I plan to lay the plate against it with a c-clamp and tap it around til I meet the measurements. Then mark that bottom hole...Thanks!

Sorry to be slow. Measured tonight. Snowy bracket and 0 degrees so could be off a bit. Top is about 3/4” back. Top corner of bracket is rounded and blade curves and I didn’t have a handy straight edge so it could be 7/8”. Middle is about 1/8. Bottom was hard to measure as the brace across the bottom of the blade is in the way. The pivot pin is about 3/4” back from front edge of bracket and about 1 1/4”above bottom edge. If other dimensions will help, let me know.

Oh no problem Sno! Sounds rough out there! I致e been fighting some sort of stomach bug so I haven稚 been able to really work on the build as it is. But if you find a warm day and some time, I could use the distance from the front and bottom of the support bracket, to the center of the top cross rod, it痴 that black rod That sits into the quick hitch. Then I can mark the quick hitch spring pins. The only other measurement I thibk Might be useful, is the distance from the front of the support bracket to the cross member upright that holds the trip springs. Thanks!

It looks like the centerline of the black rod is 5 1/8 back from front edge and 9 9/16 up from bottom of the bottom. The back of the trip spring attach piece is 2 3/4 back from front edge. The holes are about 2 up from the bottom of the bottom. Let me know if anything else will help (or if my description is confusing). Got about 4 inches of very fluffy snow yesterday and got most of it moved today.

Well boys and girls, this project is just about done finished! Tomorrow is welding day. I took what pics I could..issue being that it痴 against company policy to take pics of work being done in the shop. I may have also forgot at times...😖 I did take pics of the components and of it held together with a large wood clamp, and tomorrow I値l take pics after welding. And then again after it gets a few coats of paint to hide some errors. There were some 都nafus shall we say along the way, some are blatantly obvious, others will remain a secret only to this fabricator. All
In all, it was fun yet challenging. I値l post pics ASAP, but with the holiday around the bend, may be another week or so. Thanks again to all those who offered help and data, this project would致e taken even longer without your time! Til then, Happy holidays to all!!

Here are some pics of the semi finished blade support bracket. I知 still trying to determine if I have enough swing of the bracket if it does trip. Curious if it should be allowed to swing 90*? More? Less? There are some pics so if you have any input, let me know. After I figure that out, I値l either grind away some steel to add clearance to allow for greater swing or paint it ASAP. thanks! 4034AAFF-6699-4C64-B8FF-0D39EC96434D.jpeg4CDE8887-7748-4B9F-95EB-5354BA383642.jpeg7C43ACA6-A738-4E63-B37A-C36744B085F1.jpeg649862F6-6E7B-43F5-8977-1C2D8B6C27C6.jpegF0F7859A-044B-487B-B36D-BB00B9A992BC.jpeg3288E793-3A80-4650-9FA6-2C07E25813AA.jpegAA46B878-28B4-4B74-9318-E70DCA3AC761.jpeg369086FD-CC52-4B28-B446-36BF1B4A2625.jpegCF8C0512-A6E1-46F0-B54F-9AF067A1C100.jpeg

Very nice work. Thanks for the pictures. I have not checked carefully, but if mine trips, it appears to go forward till the top of the blade contacts the surface. If the snow has been partially packed and set up overnight, it can trip the blade. If I keep going forward, the blade seems to be laying flat, but the cutting edge is still cutting a bit. On the second pass, often the blade won't trip and I get the rest of the partially packed material scraped off. I’ll check and see if I can tell if something stops the blade as it tips forward just before the top of the blade hits the snow next time out [likely later today].
