All the plugs yes but only the microwave when needed. Why have one if it does not make it more convient for us? It will run the tv, microwave (when needed) sat dish if we want it, and the elec blankets to warm up the bed.

In post 1, I also mentioned it will soon (as in a week or so) be 4 batteries. That is 4, 6v deep cycle batteries (US2200) wired to parallel 12v systems. Each 6v battery is rated 232ah, so 2 in series to 12v will be 232ah but 4 will be 464ah. I anticipate, based on ACTUAL USE TIME and current draw, that they will last 2-4 days before requiring recharge. That is taking them to 50% charge, which I will most likely try to avoid. 464ah is over 5.5kw. My Tesla home battery is 13.5kw and it powers the entire house all night long, and that includes us running a 20" box fan all night long. I think I can easily live within 5.5kw in the RV.

The wife's hair drier is the biggest draw and that will run about 15 min a day, tops. Microwave maybe 5, if that, and elec blankets (300w) for a couple hrs before bed, just to warm it. The TV will prob draw about 300w and once the satellites are locked on, the power box can be powered down and draw zero. The satellite dish uses 120-150w while searching for the satellites, and zero once locked on and the power box is powered down. I got this info directly from Winegard. The outlets will have near draw zero, when powered up, if nothing is plugged in. I really do not see much of an issue with battery life.

Why run the house at night on the Tesla battery? Charge the battery at night when the power is the lowest cost and run the house of the battery in the day time when power is the most expensive .

Because I charge the battery during the day with 4.5kw of solar and run off battery at night. PG&E will owe me money at the end of the year.

Doing that would require me to do what I have to do now and that is turn off unwanted breakers.
