International 404

Just got an old International 404. Need to know how many quarts of oil it holds for an oil change. Thanks

I am having a bad CRS moment. I am pretty sure it takes 5 quarts. I would check it after 4 quarts! I know when I drain it, I get just about a gallon out... I am sorry, but I have not changed oil in that tractor for about a year.... And I need to soon...

I just got a 504 last fall. I've breezed through the books, but don't recall either. I would bet on 5, but like was said above, check it at 4.

404 takes 5 quarts. It was the last iteration of the 113/123 cu. in Farmall engine. They are bullet proof if you take minimal care of them. Good luck with it! BobG in VA
