Important MANTIS Follow-up ?

For all you folks who spoke favorably about the Mantis Rototiller on the other thread, my wife has a follow-up question she would like to ask all of you. Do you or your wives use these units to do edging around flower beds? They come with an edging attachment and she really wants the Mantis to do edging so as to save her knees. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

can't help with this one.my tiller did come with the edger,but i have never got around to trying it out..

Ditto. I also never watched the videotape that came with the Mantis, but a friend who borrowed it says it shows the edger working fine. No reason it shouldn't, since the tiller has decent power.

I only use the Mantis for tilling. The tines rotate TOO S L O W to suit me when edging. If you don't mind waiting then I suppose it would eventually get the job done.

Both my wife and our 13 year old daughter use the Mantis. Edger works good. Easy to switch.
