Kids are sponges. Family friends had a 2 year old who never said much so they took him to a child psychologist for a developmental assessment. At some point the guy held out an orange and asked the toddler what it was, expecting an answer like, "ball". The toddler's response was a question too-
"Does it have seeds?" (Toddler was trying to determine if it was an ordinary orange or a seedless variant of some other name that I forget right now)
