I have an International Harvester I 806 D. It has given me next to no problems over many years of service, I use it mostly for feeding animals, clearing driveway and pulling the odd log to the sawmill. The other day I noticed it was having some trouble pulling a couple smaller logs and that it was somewhat difficult to shift into reverse. I also noticed that the clutch peddle appeared to engage almost at the top of the peddle movement. I set the clutch up but I still cannot pull anything heavy or start the tractor in motion above second gear. Has my clutch gone or is there another explanation? If it is the clutch I can only find a 104 page service manual online and I can't believe that that will tell me much. I wanted to see the best way to split the tractor if it is the clutch. Up2 my ears in tractor.:confused2:

I'm starting to think something hydro-static because there does not appear to be any slippage. Anyone familiar with adjustments to the hydro=static?
