IH 504 with New Idea 504 FEL
Gentlemen,
I am running an IH504 gas tractor and the radiator started to leak between the core and the top tank. I took it to a radiator shop (in business since 1956) and they said they couldn't patch it, they could only recore it. It seems a recore is almost as expensive as a new radiator. The only problem is I can't find a new one. It is IH part #377092R92. I have scoured the internet with no luck. Does anyone no if a radiator out of another model will fit? My manual covers the 330, 340, 504 and 2504, so I assume those three are very similar. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You might have to go some to find a good radiator from a tractor that vintage. The recore might be the best lin the long run!

I just checked my sources and I come up with no listing for radiator for #504. Ken Sweet

I have a '67 504. Nice tractor.

Personally, I think I'd recore it and have them check it over good when they have it apart. Most everything on a radiator of that vintage can be repaired/fixed by a good radiator shop.

Good luck.

Gentlemen,
Thank you so much for your help. Based on your input and scouring the country side, I have decided to get it re-cored. I am told it will be at least $400 dollars, I was hoping maybe to buy a new one for $600 or so. Oh well, thanks again fellas.
