Not sure. This particular TC belongs to a friend of mine and he doesn't know. I'm going to look at it in a few days. I think it was new somewhere around 2007 to 2010 time period.

I may be wrong but I thought that you could connect a hydraulic pump like the one below to the Toolcat and build enough PSI (800 or so) in the system to release the brakes.

Does this ring a bell with anyone?

DEWFPO,

I just went through this entire thread and found something regarding what you are saying on page 36 (Jabonee). I didn't completely understand where this would be connected. It sounds like this will release the brakes but I'm not sure it will allow the motors to rotate due to the fluid not being able to flow. If that is the case then the tires will still skid. Maybe Jabonee will see this and elaborate.

I read through a few more threads and saw where Jabonee mentioned that by removing the bottom cover plate will expose the port block. Not sure exactly where it needs to be connected to with the hydraulic pump. I did also see where he mentions "stepping on the traction control after setting the direction control lever". I can see how this would allow the hydraulic fluid to flow through the motors and allow the tires to rotate but not really sure about the "step on the traction control" as I though this was simply a switch.

Maybe the early ones had a type of differential lock you stepped on like tractors have? The G series traction control is automatic but is turned off in the high speed mode.

My 2009 Series D does not have Traction Control, unfortunately.

OK, turns out it was built in 2005 and is a B series. I saw where it can be moved but you need the bolts that will release the brakes. Does anybody have these bolts? If so, I am curious what length bolts they are (measured from under the head to the end of the bolt). They are machined on the ends to a point. If I knew what length they were I am sure I can modify a bolt on the lathe to work. The manual says to thread them in until there is 1/2" between the underside of the head and where they thread into.

Has anyone removed the black plastic hood/visor at the top/front of the cab that houses the 4 off-road/work lights? I am installing a magnetic rotating beacon and side work lights and want to run the wiring into that covering and down the A pillar to the dash. Has anyone done this? Any tips or pitfalls?

Thanks, DEWFPO

Show pictures when you get it off. I was wondering where the wires for the safety beacon would be.

I had to take mine off at least I tried to get wipers back to top when shut off.. it would be way easier with two people.. have to take inside headliner off in front to access

Hi All,

New here. Been lurking while I was researching to buy.
Just took delivery of a 2007 5600. serial *A0W111290* 800 hrs
Drove it off the truck. Turned it off. signed the paperwork. Started it back up and drove in around.
Woo Hoo. Just what I wanted.
Turned it off.
Came back 10 mins later to put it in the garage and it wont crank.
Getting an error 50-07
F-P-R error.
Yes the selector wand it in the middle.
Dealer I bought it from said to check the fuses, but they all look good.
I purchased a maintenance manual, but it does not include a wiring diagram.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,
Bob

A 50-07 code will not stop the engine from cranking. Controller is sensing lever is not feeding back a signal. Check relays . Check fuses with a VOLT METER:thumbsup:

Thanks, I will check the fuses again.

How would I check the relays?

Thanks, I will check the fuses again.

How would I check the relays?
Check cab fuse F10. Switch relay with another. Switched power relay R1 powers the F/R lever. Also are all electrical items working with key on? ( heater fan, lights, etc.)

heater fan works, wipers work -no lights (not sure if they work)
All fuses checked with meter.
swapped all relays.

If I unplug the F-P-R lever - no difference.

Once I turn key to start it gives Beep Alarm.

Also fuses are not labeled.
The fuses I am checking are below front of driver seat.
