John Deere 110TLB
I had to order a 110TLB, no dealers in the area had one with the rear outlet valve option , 7030 option. I never ordered a tractor, purchased my last machine out of stock, now I have to wait till mid Feb!!! :(

I did get to try one out that came in for another customer, now mid Feb feels like next year! I guess the demand for the 110TLB is not that great. Out of three Ag dealers & one commercial not one dealer had a 110 coming in for stock soon . So I had to order one.

I will miss my green machine but, the yeller is growing on me, nothing like a late christmas or a reason to work harder next year.

I know what you mean. I went to all dealers around here.
I wanted to give one a test drive. and no one around here even
had one....:(
I guess there not big sellers , that $40.000 price tag
might have something to do with it....:D

Chris....:)

I can feel for the wait. I had a race going: Would the back hoe get here before the old horse went legs up? My wife had a retired lawn ornament on its last and I was really anxious to get the bh before I had to dig the hole.

The tractor arrived exactly one week before I needed the hole.

MACDABS,
Not sure how close you are to Marietta, OH but the JD dealer there had 2 110's on their lot (very recently). Not sure how they were configured? Could your dealer have done a trade like the auto dealers do?? Just thought I'd mention it.
Best wishes.

I thought about purchasing out of state, but with travel and the dealer local is only 4 miles from my home did not make a lot of sense. Plus the dealer is trading my 4310 and the salesman has to feed a family here also.

I think with the new year and Jd pushing the dealers to move product ,dealer trading is not very popular. I still have my 4310 for moving snow till my 110Tlb arrives , I just hope JD makes no mid year changes or improvements after the 110 comes in . I purchased a H3 for my wife and with the 5cyl. it lacks power then the v-8 came out , that pissed my wife off.:( davitk is right nothing beats ordering something the way you want it , almost like your a kid again in a cycle shop. :) I hate that first bucket scratch or tire scuff.

Congrats, MACDABS! A new, shiny JD 110 in your future! I've lusted after one of them beauties for some time. Had the opportunity to use one for a weekend a couple years back and have wished I'd taken the plunge for one ever since...

If you don't mind --- how was the dealer on the final price? What kind of break from the MSRP did your dealer allow on the deal?

Oh yah, what options did you get? Extra hydralics up front and on the hoe? How about the 3 SCV's on the back for a Top n Tilt later on?

Thanks for any info.

AKFISH,
Everybody that has used a 110TLB has said it's a tough machine.

I ordered the 3 svc valves and the top n tilt 3pt hitch, front hydraulic valves ,for skid steer attachments, work lights and 42'' forks. I did not order the rear hydraulic valves on the hoe . Unless I was going to purchase the Jd augar or breaker for the rear hoe ,the valves would not do me any good .Several rental stores have breakers and attachments for the front skid steer style , but nothing for the rear hoe boom .

Price wise the dealer lumped my trade 2003 4310 with 48 hoe, 60'' hd bucket , forks , 280 hrs, turf tires foam front, rear calcium ,$18,100.00 differance plus tax . MSRP on the tractor I orderd is just under $48,000.00.
I figure they must of discounted at least 25-28%. If my wife new she would
sh!# :ekk:
Heck that MSRP is more than I paid for our first house. I have several jobs to do this spring to pay for the differance and move up to the new 110TLB or else I would have kept my 4310. And if I would sub out the work to someone else I would have spent more plus the time. The work is easy jobs like unloading , 12x12 4-5 ft deep holes, spreading stone and finish grading after the trackhoe is done. This is also my explanation if my wife notices the machine is yellow now not green. Plus after the 110TLB arrives and will not fit in the garage at the house , I need a story on how we have to build a building out back, 2nd project.:) So in the end the machine is cheap , the building I want to build to house it is expensive, the wife that will blackmail me for bling, bling or some kinda furniture is going to cost me :(

MACDABS --- thanks for the info. Sounds like your dealer went the extra mile to get your business!

From your experience it appears that there is quite a bit more wiggle room between the MSRP on the "yellow" line than the "green" machines. It looks like anyone hoping to close a deal on a new green machine is doin' real well with 10-13% off the list price.

I've been watchin' and learnin' from fellow TBNer's for the past year now and I'm negotiating for a new upgrade machine with the local green dealer and the yellow folk's and the orange guys, too!

Gonna compare the pros and cons of the 4320, 110 and the L48. Should get some further info from them this coming week.

Lookin' forward to seeing pics of your new baby when it arrives!
