Other than saying your pump may be due for an overhaul due to the symptoms you mentioned I'm unfamiliar with Ram Pumps. :)

Here is a good explanation of how a ram pump works. RAM PUMP

Air chamber may be getting water logged.

took the pump apart and could not find anything wrong.
i can get the pump up to 54 psi and turn the cutoff off and it will hold pressure.

i have not had to mess with this pump but once in 3 years. (replaced oring)
all of a sudden it quit pumping water to the holding tank.

i have two tees in my supply line too check out and clean trash out if needed.
i thought i had somthing in the lines but i can not find anything wrong with them either.

the thing that gets me is around 300 feet below my holding tank, i can unscrew the cap on the tee and drain the line out, put the cap back on and it will pump to the tank again for about 10-12 hours and quits again.

when it is pumping, it is on 47 psi, when it quits, it is maxed out on 54 psi.
makes me think its getting air in the lines somehow.

Check the maximum pressure the pump delivers against the required pressure to get to the tank.:)

Has the water flow the pump sits in changed in volume or velocity lately?:)

the spring has dried up alittle, but it is still keeping my lines and stand pipe full.

also what do u mean about Check the maximum pressure the pump delivers against the required pressure to get to the tank?

Is the pump building up enough pressure to lift the water to where you want it.:)

well,
when it is pumping, it is on 47 psi, when it quits, it is maxed out on 54 psi.

only takes 47 to get it there, when it stops running, the pump is still pumping and on 54 psi. acts like vapor lock.
