Hyd vs Elec Trailer Brakes

If the lines have been broken long, the master cylinder and wheel cylinders are either garbage or in need of rebuilding.

I'm not a big fan of electric brakes as the salt on roads here destroys wiring, connectors, etc on the regular if you drive in the winter. I'd love to get an electric over hydraulic controller, they are pricy but let a regular electric brake controller run hydraulic brakes.

You need to lube and adjust electric brakes 1 time a year minimum regardless off mileage.
