Stu: thanks for the info on the hydraulic top link. Picked one up from my parts man, works smooth as silk. attached are images of the install, my rig, and my companion who oversees the QC on the jobs. bb

Looks good Bubba!

Did you get that from Kubota Parts?

BTW, your QC man looks like a tough customer!

BNT: yeah, the parts guy is my most valuable person at the dealership. Aftermarket item, similar to Dalton & C&CM. 3" diameter, 20.875 closed w/10" stroke. don't know how I did without all these years. yeah, we let even the QC people sleep around here sometimes, especially around dog days. bb

Is that your dog or a fox?
Looks like the gray version of the red one that was having chicken dinner this spring at the expense of my pet chickens.
If it is your dog, what breed is it?

dr bob: sorry to hear you lost your chicken to the fox. yes, it's a grey fox that wandered in to the mountain farm. think he's an old male hanging around for handouts...guess kinda like me now that I've retired....bb

That old boy looks to be a healthy specimen from his general appearance and the look of his coat..
You're lucky to have him around!

The gray, and red foxes come to my place often. I watched a pair eat blueberries last summer for some time. They would jump to grab a branch, and then eat the berries that fell. Sometimes the red foxes will come out when I'm mowing the yard they know the sound of the mower, and tractor mean field mice, and sometimes frogs, or grass snakes that will be easy pickings. They are good to have around, and I enjoy their company.
