HPX 3 wheel drive - a fix?

Is there a fix for my 3 wheel drive HPX short of buying a newer model?

a fix??sure there is it's made by ITP there 589's. they take you anywhere's .lol unless your rock climbing i don't think it's a real big factor alteast it never hel me out of any mud holes the only thing that held me out was how deep the water was. the hpx's and xuv's aren't really made to take on water like the rangers and rhinos. they can take the mud but not the water.

I know you are in Louisiana and all, but the black clay here in Texas will stick just about anything. I would at least like to have all 4 wheels digging.

if you have the stock tires and your riding in the clay mud and it's sticking to them wich it will then no your no better off all your gonna do is spin 4 tires instaed of 3.what kinda tires do you have?wheni had my stock tires(489's) they did ok but they would cake up and the mud would just stay on them mainly when i was in the clay stuff but after i switched to the 589's the lugs are deeper and they are wider apart and that same clay mud now falls of in softball size chunks and they keep going through the stuff. i mean you can upgrade to a newer model but new tires are cheaper. llok at it this way if 3 tires are slicked up with clay mud what makes you think that other 4th tire is gonna help you out in the clay mud? when i ride with my buddy i ride in 2 wheel drive with my "3 wheel drive hpx" and he has to keep his rhino in 4x4 with the front dif locked and has to really spin the tires to go through what i put! put! through. he has tried the 2 wheel drive thing and as soon as he hits the mud the rhino just sits there why because he has them stock tires . now when me my buddy and his podna ride well his podna has a rhino too but he has them i think they are some vampires i'm not sure but he goes through it all in 2 wheel drive .so tires makes a really big diference and the driver too.

If you ever run 589's, you will never go back to anything else !!! Don't care what machine or utility vehicle they are on !!!! They will go threw some really horrible places, even in two wheel drive !!!!

Them tires clean themselves great, and will pull their butt off !!!!!
Every time the 589 makes a revolution, it cleans itself out, and a freash set of teeth bite back into the mud, every revolution. That make a BIG difference !!!!
THE ITP 589'S WILL NOT SLICK OVER WHAT SO EVER !!!
SOMEBODY HAD THEIR THINKING CAP ON WHEN THEY DESIGNED THESE TIRES !!!!!!!!

4 wheels pulling is better then 3 but I am not sure if anyone makes a front locker for the HPX. Even if they did I would be surprised if it was unlockable which would make turning a lot harder 24/7. Going to 589's will make a world of difference for you and even though I have never used 589's I have used Vampires and 3 wheels with great mud tires will out pull any 4 wheel stock tires on the same machine.

i would try a tire upgrade and then if your still not satisfied then upgrade to a newer hpx but like i said if you have stock tires on the newer hpx or xuv it still won't get you through the stuff your gonna need to get better tires and i don't wanna keep saying 589's but hey they are the best biteing mud and snow tire out there for thier weight.
