HUH?... Have not heard that as to be a problem...... The lower it is the easier it is to connect with some implements...
My only problem with it being to low is when I have ballast weight on, and usually ignoring it (ballast) as I concentrate on FEL work and 3PH creep down and ballast weigh ends up dragging.... Check Chains (Stay Chains?) solved that problem...

Yes, that was my concern. Forgetting about it and dragging it through the mud. I understand it pays to get quite low for some implements, but this is overkill for everything I have. By about 6 inches.
On some tractors with 3pt position control the lower limit can be adjusted.
If you have a simple (old school) control, and don't need height limiting, you could use the stop for lower limiting, or get (or make) another for BOTH.
Yes that sounds good. I have one stop on there, currently set from my last "box blade" run. i will just adjust it a bit lower. It will leak down, but slooooowly with such a low weight.
