A solid 76-80deg F today. Quite pleasant.

That is brutal. I’m complaining about high 80s to mid 90s where I live.

Gosh, 116F and high humidity is down right lethal in my book. Take care of yourselves! I've been in hotter, but never hot and high humidity.

When I want hot I walk into the steam boiler room and on a busy hot summer day it’s hit 116… but humidity less than 10%

I don’t do well in heat unless I can prep for it but even then if it is too hot to sleep no respite.

Heat index hit 116F last week in Middle Tennessee due to a combination of high temps and terrible humidity, but is supposed to be 10-15 degrees cooler this week. One lady we know baked cookies on a baking pan on her car dashboard last week just to see if it could be done.

At the cabin I woke up to a hard frost in August. We have had to have a fire at the cabin every single night this summer.

I have friends in Wyoming. They also say it's been a wet summer. Good for the wildlife and pasture.

60 years ago an aunt and uncle owned Jelm, plus about 160 square miles of rangeland around it. It was a ghost town at the time, and they kept the incredible log mansion as a fishing cabin. It's the only 6 bedroom log cabin I have ever seen. They sold the ranch when they were still living, but kept the town. I see it has now been turned into a cafe/resort. I suppose the town was sold long ago. My cousins there have all passed on, and I don't keep contact with their kids.

I know Jelm, I drive by there all the time in the winter going to Steamboat.

I bet my grandfather knew your aunt and Uncle. My great great grandfather use to own all the land between Cheyenne and just west of Laramie.

We are going to be in Jackson Hole over halloween this year.. Im thinking it's going to be in the 30s.
Its raw out this way today..Actually just clicked on the gas fireplace to take the chill off.
Id really appreciate all you people here emptying all the hairspray and other aerosol cans you have so we can get in on some of that global warming up here.

In Vegas right now due to the passing of my MIL. It is 6pm and 109 degrees. We were running around town all day handling the stuff you handle when someone dies. I forgot how hot it is in the sun here. Not bad in the shade since the humidity is low (5%).

Temp has taken a nose dive here in the PNW. Only 81 at my place today, comfortable working weather. I finished moving 6 cords of firewood into the woodshed. They are predicting rain Thursday, maybe, but temps in the high 70s most of the week. I've got a lot of outside work to do this fall. I'm hosting a camp-out for the eclipse. I'm smack in the middle of the path. Clear skies not guaranteed, but I already have a couple sanicans and a hand wash station ordered.
