How hot is it?

A solid 76-80deg F today. Quite pleasant.

That is brutal. I’m complaining about high 80s to mid 90s where I live.

We hit a new record high today at 110. The old record was 107 set back in 1901.

Gosh, 116F and high humidity is down right lethal in my book. Take care of yourselves! I've been in hotter, but never hot and high humidity.

When I want hot I walk into the steam boiler room and on a busy hot summer day it’s hit 116… but humidity less than 10%

I don’t do well in heat unless I can prep for it but even then if it is too hot to sleep no respite.

Heat index hit 116F last week in Middle Tennessee due to a combination of high temps and terrible humidity, but is supposed to be 10-15 degrees cooler this week. One lady we know baked cookies on a baking pan on her car dashboard last week just to see if it could be done.

I still prefer this heat/drought over a Cat III or higher storm.

It was hot enough here last week to make the corn sweat, and we are surrounded by corn. We had 2 days with a Dew point of 85.
