Hour meter flex shaft question

Hi all,
First let me say that I've learned more in the last couple days about my recently purchased YM1300 by reading all your posts than anywhere else I've looked. Excellent information.
My question is, when I purchased the tractor the hour meter shaft was missing. Well, the I have the replacement shaft in and know where it attaches to the back of the hour meter, but don't see where it attached to the engine?
Any help would be very much appreciated.

I don't have a manual for the YM1300 (or its equivalent made for U.S. YM155). On my YM1301D, the hourmeter/tach cable attaches to the front of the engine. There should be some type of fitting on the aluminum front cover. I think it is actually mechanically attached to the camshaft.

In front of and below the injector pump. It screws in vertically.

With your comments I was able to locate it, Kind of hidden and tough to get to but I found it and have it hooked up.
