Holy Mackerel! We are coming up on 5" in the rain gauge since midnight. I woke up this morning wondering what I should do today. Mother Nature provides. Between the clogged gutters, a leak in the roof and water in the basement boredom won't be the problem today.

We aren't getting those numbers in this part of the state Thomas, but looks like tonight and tomorrow will bring heavy rains.

We can use an extended soaking rain storm...

We had ours last week, over 9" in 4 days! Wiped out the center piling under a State hwy bridge just north of town, long way around for several people, including lots of farm crops. ~~ grnspot110

I wish you guys could send some of that our way. We have had less than 1 inch since July.

Light rain this morning - a little under 3 inch total - a few area roads closed because of washouts. Overall could have been much worse.
