helping a neighbor repair his rotary cutter

My neighbor hit a rock and damaged his rotary cutter. The sheer pin sheered but it also took out a tooth on the input bevel gear and messed up the output bevel gear in the gearbox. There are no tags/markings on either the rotary shear or the gearbox and he has no idea the manufacturer of the attachment. This makes finding replacement parts very difficult. I am asking for help in IDing the rotary cutter and gearbox and any sources for replacement bevel gears.

If nobody is able to provide the info, a suggestion would be to take the broken section to a farm/tractor dealer near you to see if they would be able to match it generically.

Just replace the gearbox

Measure for a replacement and replace the entire gear box. If you can find the parts they will be more expensive than a generic box. Been down this road before. Install a slip clutch when you replace the box.
