Gravely 24-G
Glad to have found the site and look forward to conversing on the forum, particularly Gravely chat.

Just picked up an unbelievably well-maintained Gravely 24-G with only 514 hours and hoping to figure out how to have a 48" snow blower attached before the snow flies in WV...so any and all help would be very welcomed. ;)

Best wishes to all

Yes, welcome to TBN ! ! !

Over the years I have owned a number of Gravely 4 wheel tractors, and currently also have a 1999 20-G with lawn mower and snowblower.

Both attachments are Gravely, so installation is a breeze. For the snowblower, you will need the 2 front side mounting plates for your tractor, along with the front pto kit. Have you looked into the Gravely snowblower??? If you can't find anything, let me know......I could dig up my manuals and scan a parts diagram.

One thing I have found from MANY years of snowblowing........even though the engine is in the rear, the tractor becomes a whole new, go-anywhere beast with additional weight on the rear. Along with tire chains, I add another 300# to the rear. In combination with the individual rear wheel brakes, the tractor will go almost anywhere my 4x4 Kubota will go. Impressive, to say the least ! ! !

Wow, that's an unbelievable deal. I saw a post in a Gravely Club forum for a 24G in Mississippi that has an asking price of $3000 that isn't as nice as yours. :)

I saw a post as of Aug. 9, 2011 from a Tony Luca on mytractorforum.com for a $900 48" snowblower that has a missing chute cable located in Stillwater, NY. I considered buying it myself, but am passing the info on to you.

It looks as if it is a nice blower, but I just don't have the money myself now for it.

Also, recently, saw on Ebay.com a $1200 48" snowblower attachment in Elyria, OH.

Good luck on that 24G with mowing and snowblowing!
