I bring bulb to auto parts store and I tell them I want one of these, they get it right everytime

This is hardly any help at all, but I once read here that the same bulb, maybe the whole assembly, was used in Yamaha skimobiles in that era. But it has never been used anywhere else.

If you can't find a cheap one locally, then the dealers who participate here can ship them to you.

If anyone finds the Stanley hi/lo beam headlight bulb for the Yanmars at an auto parts store, please post it. We are unaware of any alternative source. We have them, but our aftermarket supplier is the only source I know of.

Go to your local motorcycle dealer Honda or Yamaha they have them.

It's only worth a certain amount of running around.....we sell most of the Yanmar headlight bulbs in the $5 range.

With Wayne's price at around $5, that's where I'd go. But if anyone wants to try to track them down at a Yamaha dealer try a late 80's snowmobile headlight, part number 21V-84314-00-XX
