has anyone find a local supplier for the Stanley headlight bulbs? Is there such a thing as a bulb number to cross reference?
This is hardly any help at all, but I once read here that the same bulb, maybe the whole assembly, was used in Yamaha skimobiles in that era.sirgknight said:has anyone find a local supplier for the Stanley headlight bulbs? Is there such a thing as a bulb number to cross reference?
Go to your local motorcycle dealer Honda or Yamaha they have them.sirgknight said:has anyone find a local supplier for the Stanley headlight bulbs? Is there such a thing as a bulb number to cross reference?
I am not sure what bulbs my 2 tractors take, but I have been considering changing them to LED at some point. I think there was a thread on the bulbs a few years ago I will see if I can find it.
I decided to ditch the weak OEM incandescent bulbs on my 1401D when one burned out and I could quickly find a replacement.I need to look into that. I wanted LEDs for mine as I mow at night sometimes. Thanks

I bought a couple of 8 LED 12V lights off eBay - I think they were under $20 each.
...
They only draw something like 3 amps each.

Note that the photo of the mounting is with the hood open so it's upside down.
Maybe 3 Watts. :dance1:
Very nice. Better than the 25W/35W ATV bulbs.
Actually it's correct with the camera angle. It's an inside shot.
Hey, you got a horn in there unwired. That's the very first mod I did was hooking that thing up.
They put some hefty heat sinks on those lights, which is a big plus. The LED elements last just about forever, dissipating heat from the transformer will help extend its life as well.
