Since I had to order a new fusebox which had the main 30 amp fuse area melted by hot current flow…as well as charging issues I decided to try to lessen the load in the circuit by installing some led headlight bulbs. I ended up getting some with similar dimensioning and bottom alignment slots. I had to remove, metal snip off, the three bulb alignment tabs and just notched out the alignment area similar to the oem bulbs. After that the bulbs slid in place and I reused the tension spring and locking ring.
