Box Scraper Having trouble with quick attach

I bought a quick attach from Northern Equipment for my John Deere 2305, new toy. Most of my attachments seem to attach ok, but my box scraper pins are to short, can I simply buy longer pins?

I have not looked for them but a box scraper puts a lot of torque on the pins and longer ones sound like they would bend or bend what they are attached to. I looked at getting a similar quick hitch but my box scraper would have been to narrow. So I went with pat's quick hitch setup.

You may be able to find some longer pins depending on what length the original pins are. I would not be worried about extra stress from the longer pins on a smaller tractor. Is the top link spacing correct?

Most of the quick hitch adaptor bushings have two different hole spacings, this might provide you with enough extra length to work. I agree with Roger that you should be able to use a longer pin with the 2305. You can also use cat 2 pins with QH adaptor bushings that are longer too.

My box blade was set up with too narrow a pin spacing also and after thinking about the amount of force put on the pins with the digging and gravel spreading I planned on doing I didn't think longer pins would last too long.
Several HD blades come with pin setups like this, so I added a few plates and used a long bolt with the correct diameter bushings to copy something similar to this picture, works great, and I don't think I'll have any trouble with bending any mounts.
