Gremlins in TBN site

For about a month(approx 2nd week of march), when using TBN I will intermittantly get an error message "we are having trouble finding that site" when navigating between pages. IE on a 4 page thread I will work from page 1 throught to page 4, then click on "back to start" button(page 1) and get the "we are having trouble finding that site" error message. When I click on page1 however the page comes straight up.
The problem mostly occurs within a thread , going forward or backward, but on some nights I have been unable to access this site at all.I just get "we are having trouble finding that site".
What is going on here???
I have not had an OS update when this started. OS is Linux Ubuntu 20.04.3lts
Only this site is affected.
Is anyone else having this problem?

Yes, and it appears to be website loading related to me. It's not a cookie or other local issue as best I can tell.

I haven’t had that issue, but since around that time my app freezes and I need to completely close it and reopen it. This is the only app on my phone that acts like this. Sorry for giving many extra views to certain post but it can take 3 or 4 restarts to read the entire thread

I have same issue as the OP, but very intermittently.

No other issues on any other website.

This is on an ancient windows box running current Firefox browser.

I think it's server side bottleneck on TBN.

Something changed around that time here and ever since then, the back button doesn't do what it used to do, like automatically update. Now we do a lot of scrolling and clicking just to go back.

Me too,
dell desktop, hp laptop both win 10 chrome or firefox when backing out of thread sometimes get red x can’t find page or some such also doesn’t update thread to read status unless I hit reload.
iPhone 7 locks up on occasion but I rarely use it anyway also doesn’t update read status.
ipad works the best but also doesn’t update read status unless reloaded.

Yep, pretty sure it was a back-end IT issue. Whether a bandwidth issue, system loading, or vendor related as I have seen with CloudFlare occasionally.

Not saying it couldn't be a local user issue but, for me, it seemed like the problem was on the website's back-end IT infrastructure.

So far no issues with macOS Ventura 13.4

No issues with macOS here on Mac Pro laptop running Ventura OS and Safari Browser.
Mac's Ventura OS does have known glitches with apple mail and also with MS Office for Mac - so it's not the whole answer. But it does browse a lot better than previous versions.

I did have problems a year ago with a previous Mac OS. Cured those by loading Chrome specifically for using as the TBN browser.

I have problems using chrome on my I-phone . So I open a private browser window then open Duck Duck Go . Go to website and never have problems .

While I have been doing some maintenance at night, you would definitely see the forum locked and you shouldn't be receiving those sorts of errors when browsing day to day. We no longer go through Cloudflare, but I'm still looking for clues that might cause this.

Is the error a pop-up? Text at the top of the forum? Or does the forum not load at all and you need to type the URL or refresh the page again?

This one has been going on for about 6 weeks now. Latest Threads, Something New?
It's a pita to click back on something you've just read. Maybe that's because I spend too much time here...

For me, it is a load failure. A refresh from the browser usually fixes it after the page or element/frame load fails.

Not a pop up for me.

It's "page not found" (or similar, it's been a week at least since I've seen it).

Now the new thing is I have to resign in every. single. time. I open the site. Even though I click "remember me".

That is new. It always remembered me before.
