Kubota B2601
This morning I received an unexpected delivery from the folks over at Chappell Tractor. A tin of homemade Cookies! (Photo)
Lol, Harley Davidson doesn't even remember my name half the time and I have purchased six new bikes from the same dealer over the last twenty five years.
Purchasing my first Tractor from Chappell was the most painless motorized purchase I have ever done.
I knew exactly what model I wanted, and phoned to negotiate a price. They Ran my Credit along with a credit card for the amount I wanted to put down.
Three days later they phoned and said the tractor was ready to go. Being tied up with a full time job plus an online Biz, I asked If I could let them know within twenty four hours when I could come down to fill out the paperwork. (It's a one hour ride ).
They offered to deliver the Tractor and have me sign during the delivery.
After I took delivery, I had noticed a scratch on the ROPS and gave them a phone call. They offered to come back and pick up the tractor and have their body tech repaint / clear coat the ROPS and return the tractor in a few days at no charge. Heck, a little can of touch up paint or a reflective sticker would cover it. This is what I chose. With my Tin of Cookies came a full quart of paint, a roll of reflective tape, and several Chappell Tractor Stickers.
Couldn't be more pleased!
Will be purchasing a Snow Blower for the Tractor in the fall from them, no questions asked.

Nice to read about good things. Way to much c**p going on, but I guess that makes the good stuff even more pleasant.

I have a couple of hours and a few scratches on the buckets now! Cleaned all the Dung from the hen houses and loaded the dumpster Full this am. ( No more shovel and wheelbarrow) Pulled a good size stone with the Hoe and could only fit half of it in the bucket. She hauled her away!

The Tin says "Homemade" Chocolate Chip Cookies and they definitely are. They must have someone baking cookies for them.

And that is the value of a great dealership. It doesn't matter what colour and size rig you've gone for... the reputation of your dealership is piece of mind!

Well done.

Sounds like a great dealer who appreciates their customers.

Its a great feeling to find that there are dealers that still understand good service. Very nice tractor BUT - I LIKE the cookie bonus.

Hey - I've bought Harleys, Kubotas & now a BMW M/C - but no cookies. And that cookie tin is a nice touch too.

Enjoy that new tractor.

I feel the same way. Even if it's only a follow up phone call or a silly box of cookies. It feels good that after you signed on the dotted line, there's one last salute to say thank you.
I still can't believe that they offered to send a flat bed to my home, pick up the machine, and have their body shop person repaint the ROPS and return for a minor scratch.
It's stuff like this, that builds a sense of trust.

Chappell Tractor is one of my favorite places. I've always been treated very well there, regardless of how much money I was spending. Great people!

Matt.

I don't really want to post exactly what I paid. What I will say is that it was $750.00 more for the same package compared to the folks over in Plaistow.

The extra $ didn't matter. Several years ago I had purchased a Snowblower from the Plaistow folks. The machine was loaded on my Truck and I ventured home.
When I went to unload her, she basically fell apart.
There were bolts, springs and screws all over the bed of my Truck.

No way was I going to try and figure this out with a brand new machine. I immediately drove back to the dealership. The service manager ventured outside to my Truck.

Yes,, they put her all back together and tried to start her. She continuously stalled out.. One of their Techs came out and adjusted the Carb so she ran correctly.

A complete 360 was done. Everyone walked away.. No Apologies, No Excuses.. .Turned their backs and left me in the parking lot.

Hmmm I guess it was all my Fault.

An experience like that, totally under their control, is stupid business practice. Why even try to operate a business selling stuff if you don't care? Good choice to pay a bit more.

The Tilton store of that same company is just as bad in my experience.

I compared both places. They were both within $750.00 of each other. Don't forget, you get multiple implement rebates that they take right off the top.
Build how you want her on the Kubota website at MSRP then work from there. I think it was $500.00 each rebate for the FEL and Backhoe.
Plus I got Cookies from Chappell I might phone them for another Tin. The Wife stole my cookies and took them to work yesterday.
