Does anyone know the outer diameter for the gravely walk behind quick hitch bushing for the snow blower that limits the articulation. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

sorry it took longer. Outside diameter is one inch, thickness is around 5/8"

Thank you. Received wrong bushing then. Explains blowing universal joint assembly first time using the blower.

Ouch. What size bushing was it? My dad has been running one of the older style snow cannon blowers on a commercial 12 for years without the bushing assembly. When he first got it I told him he should put one on or risk the u joint. He shrugged it off and it has held up to a lot years of use. Makes me wonder if something else caused the u-joint failure on yours?

It looks just shy of 3/4. Destroyed both universal joints. Split one yoke in half and cracked the holes in the center link. Scraped up enough parts tp fix the cv assembly. Blower was tilted and bucked pretty hard when the assembly came apart. Blower shaft turns free by hand so I don't think it's hurt.
