I’m guessing the bucket weighs closer to 300 pounds. A 600 pound grapple for that size machine is a little heavy. With a properly sized grapple the weight difference isn’t substantial. And the loader is good for a lot more than 1100 pounds a couple feet high. The breakout force is pretty close to the ground level lift.

Is that Everything Attachments 55" grapple available in BC Canada ? Shipping and Duty really bothers me for a single item. Not worth that extra expense, so I think I'd prefer getting via Kubota somehow where they can order a whole container of things.

What would you end up paying? I assume you are talking about the EA 55” rake grapple?

I suspect your bucket is more than 100 lbs. I think my 60" is about 220....

I really liked the Wicked 55" mainly cause of weight. I'm new to using a root rake grapple so excuse my ignorance. I've seen two main versions. The first is like the wicked and looks like its best for "grabbing" a pile of brush. The other kind has tines that are parallel to the ground and seam to work better at "scooping" up brush. How well does the wicked work for scooping up brush. I'm clearing my land with a dozer and root rake but will need to do the fine clean-up with my tractor. I plan to use my landscape rake and a grapple.

The first type is often called a Rake Grapple, the second type is often called an L Grapple. I have both. I generally use the L grapple since it carries a lot of brush and debris as well as it is better all around for me. Ie carries more firewood, digs deeper, etc. The rake style I mostly use as a rake, often back raking, mine carries relatively little brush and even only one decent size log. The Rake style that EA has out has better lower teeth and looks to close the gap a little volume wise. Different grapples are going to change the dynamics of what you can lift and your mileage may vary.
