Grapple Advice

If I was operating that close to the maximum lift capacity I would use my pallet forks. The pallet forks are considerably lighter than a single or duel lid grapple.
I have a full frame pallet forks and while I don't know exactly what it weighs, I suspect it is close to 300lbs so not that much different than my approx 330 lb grapple.

IT, I would agree. Now I don't yet have a grapple, (still working on her) but I do have a thumb on the backhoe that I have used many times to its max capacity. :D

I believe that the closer to max lifting capacity you get, the more control you should have over the load. I think the grapple's ability to "clutch" the load offers more control than pallet forks would have.

That's also just a cool pic!
