Got the L4240

I got the L4240 yesterday. :cool2: I was to busy playing with it to post a picture yesterday. It has a loader with ss quick attach, rear work lights, radio, rear wiper, tnt, 2 remotes (1 with float), loaded r 4's, and a 3rd function. When you put a 3rd function on you lose your right step. The 3rd function flat face couplers. I am going to get a loader mounted snow plow for it later. I will post more pictures after I detail it.

Nice,almost idenical to mine.I added a tooth-bar and Greens Machine thumb to the bucket.

Thats just a drop in the bucket of tractor he had. He had at least one of every grand l with a cab but the 3240.

I'm kinda surprised that Kubota doesn't have a different Top link holder for the Top -n- Tilt option? Be interested to see what you come up with that works.

Yes they are flat faced couplers. I do not know if the dealer did that or kubota supplied them with the kit. I will have to look at the instructions for the 3rd function to see. Now I will not have to buy fitting when I get a snowblade.

The tnt kit could have been a little better. I put it on myself. They could have supplied some better fittings and better length hoses for it. You would think being a genuine piece from kubota it would have has a toplink holder. That tnt also fit a l10, l30, and even a m series.

I am considering the L4240 as well. It's a nice looking unit. Could any of you current owners let me know the height to the top of the cab? My local dealer doesn't have an L4240 in stock and I am getting conflicting information about the cab height. I want to make sure that it'll fit inside my shed door. Thanks!

It is around 7'3" or 7'4 on r4 tires. It is hard to measure. The measurements may be different for turfs or ags.

I guess they were. I put the tnt on the tractor myself and it did not have the male side of the coupling but I remembered the guy told that the remotes came a set. I went to put them on and I needed adapters to make it work. I guess they don't supply the couplers on the 3rd function so you can put whatever you want on it.
