Good morning!!!!

62F and partly cloudy @ 12:00, heading up to around 66F for the day's high. Low this morning was 44.6F.

Looks like there's a chance of rain again in the Ten Day next weekend.

Just fixed my second cup.

After taking inventory yesterday I found we were low on fully coated posts so I went back to coating more sides and got another 10 sides done with 3 more partially done. Should get those finished up today.

That was after cleaning up the mess caused by our last rain.

Thought I had the small cans with the asphalt and the brushes in them covered (under the hay wagon) but apparently not well enough. Full of water ...

Also got the cross brace for the southeast corner post cut to length.

I have two 6' 4 x 4 posts to use as headers for the gates. Both are bowed pretty good and I realized that this would not allow the upright posts that they will be attached to, to remain plumb so I trimmed both the ends on each of those on the Delta chop saw to allow the uprights to be plumb.

With the recent rain and cooler weather grass has really started to grow once more, won't be long until the front will need cut again.

Agenda for the rest of the day:

Trip to Menards for the 12" drill bit and to exchange some items.

Birthday party later for a local friend.

See what else I can get done with whatever daylight remains.

Took son to practice tennis. Trying to get him to use the "semi-western" grip for forehand like most of the pros use.
We used a ball machine to launch balls at him. Maybe 300-500 balls? He got a blister on his palm by his thumb pad.

He says his coaches want him to play football next year. We don't plan on letting him play for multiple reasons. Permanent injury is the number 1 reason. Not worth it.

Honestly don't remember if I mentioned that I got the 1st Shingres shingles shot and it left a sore welp on my arm for about 10 days to 2 weeks....
Hope the 2nd shot doesn't repeat.

I have been looking for this Tractor Plaque that I got at the first Texas get-together we attended in spring of 2005 at Jinman’s place. Very good memories.
Found it while cleaning one of the horse stalls in the animal barn.
Not sure who made them. Maybe TXdon or others remember.
I will be moving it into my back porch.

got some stuff unpacked,lots more to go but worn out.
4am came early this morning.
started drizzling before I had a chance to get the mower out so looks like that will wait for
several days due to wet weather ahead.

I called Harvey before you posted. I thought he was the one who made them. He confirmed what I thought. I should have waited for a reply here. Thanks.
He just got in from operating his Skid Steer. And was feeling like he should not have done that.
