Got my cell phone moved from Verizon wireless. No more of them.... Now using Visible by verizon, so still on their network, just a different usage.... Flat rate fee. I got another $20 referral off, and $6 off a month for the first year.
Verizon wireless was charging $160 month just for the data usage on my old plan, in addition to over $20 month for each line. Now i'm on a flat rate $29 Unlimited plan, didn't read the fine print, but my oldest son been using it for a couple months and he hasn't complained. He was the data hog on our shared data plan. It also got my youngest paying his own bill.......

After my oldest son went off the shared plan and I saved $20 a month, verizon jacked my rate up another $20 a month for the remaining 3 lines, so I swore I'd get rid of them.

Good morning, the low is 51 and going up to 75°F. Wind ESE 5 mph. Sunny! Rain coming tonight and for the next three days they claim.

I got an absolutely brilliant idea yesterday! Amazing! It just came to me that if I was to get a bolt on SSQA and 4 'U' bolts I could mount my disks on the loader arms at the front of the tractor and disk (fluff) up the driveway and with the BB on the three point, I could shape it all at once. Requires me buying another SSQA. and the 'U' bolts and nuts. If the brilliant idea doesn't work, I will still have a separate SSQA and 4 'U' bolts and nuts.

That limo looks like a 1954 Pontiac at the front.

As for laundry, one (1) pod per load and 2 rinses. I'm on a well but with a good recovery rate (12 gallons/minute) and hang them outside for about a week. Rain water rinses gets the rest of the soap stink off. Winter time we hang them in the house and that brings the humidity back up inside. Wood heat will dry everything out.

I have some outside puttering to do today and may involve cutting the grass and digging the disks out of their hidy-hole.

Have safe day all
I have a 3 point hitch on an SSQA plate. I have used it 3-4 times after I built it. About all it's good for is moving equipment around. I was not pleased at all with trying to use implements on it, I wanted to use a york rake and it just didn't work well. It is handy to set 3 point equipment in my little shop to work on.

Good (Thursday) morning. Overnight Low of 7.6C and it's presently 13.2C, partly cloudy with a steady breeze. There was 3.7mm in the gauge @0900 followed by some more moisture.

Good run 'into town' yesterday and the hay delivery went well as the rain had passed.

A lovely 'no day' is planned for today.

That's about it, take care all.

my Mom had on of those umbrella types, 4 sides, multiple lines, start in middle and work your way out.
Known as a "Hills Hoist" here in Aus/NZ. They typically have a rotary handle so that you can raise/lower the central shaft for larger sheets/items.
And, yes, I have one.

For once the weatherman was right, the rain just started.
Did some puttering around outside today. Did not cut the grass, but did put about 10 or so peach pits on the compost pile. Tomorrow or thee next day I think I will take the tooth bar off the bucket.

I turned down the job of digging a 22" deep by 13x14' pad for a floating floor. I don't think I am skilled enough with the hoe for that level of work. She called me up today and cancelled the whole job. The township wants $7,000.oo for the building permit.:mad:

I don't know what they call them here but we have one and use it most of the time in Spring through late Fall.

From 1953 through 1967 we had a 50' clothes line on pulleys that mom used all year round. She could load/unload the line from the back porch. When your clothes came in from freeze drying in winter they smelled nice!
No artificial stink on them.

Good evening all. 69ºF for the start, mostly clear sky, light breeze. Light wind, afternoon build ups, and high temp was 87ºF. rain in forecast is evaporating like it's summer. Made coffee to start day, Men's meeting, restack wood on main wood rack, need at least one more pickup load for winter, trimmed lawn, lunch, nap, cleaned kitchen, finished folding yesterday's laundry and put away, dinner with group, blow grass off front porch and north sidewalk. Have trouble getting started on posts,Reading through them will comment on more important stuff till caught up. read 100 posts tonight.
