Drew, when I replaced trim in my RV. Used a utility knife to cut it. Later when I put new flooring in whole inside I replaced all the trim with real wood trim.

Good morning, low 57 and going up to 81°F. Wind W m6 mph. Smoke. When the powers that be forecast smoke you know it is going to be a grey day.

Was going to clean up the mower and change blades today. I may do that anyway. Nothing else planned.

Outside chores done E muffin time.
Plans for today...finish wheel barrowing rest of the wood in basement,cut 3 low hanging limds,check game cams rest of the day numb it.

Good Morning from Central Texas.
Close to 71 with almost the same dew point. Headed to upper 90's again. Unclear what if anything I can force myself to work on outdoors today except water some of the garden pots. Just too miserable weather.
Reading thru some of the "Northerners" posts, I am envious of the 70's or 80's high temps. But, it is August in Texas and we have about 2 more months of scalding heat only interrupted if a system comes in off the gulf.

Worked on cleaning up the welding table top from rust and residuals using rotating drum tool and 8 inch angle grinder with sanding disks but still not happy with it. Need to look into more aggressive sanding disks

Plan to do some string trimmer work today

I used a belt sander with 80 grit belts when I repurposed a piece of used 3/4” plate into my welding table. It worked pretty well.

Thank you, forgot about the belt sander. Will check into what grit sanding belts I have on hand and try it out
The welding table is very sturdy but the top is not thick enough to use the insert welding clamps. A 3/4 inch top on top of the existing top would be much better if I could find it
