I emailed my sister who lives on the Pacific coast in california to go down to the beach and see if she sees any waves
coming in from the Pacific tsunami
Northern California arrivals are expected to begin 2:50 a.m. ET, reaching San Francisco Bay around 3:40 a.m. ET and Southern California coastlines around 4 a.m. ET.

Good Morning,
Ct, 70 to start going to 90’s again. Yesterday was brutal but I still managed to pressure wash both decks behind the house and then Karhleen comes out and says why don’t you pressure wash the pressed concrete around the perimeter of the pool 😳 Oh , Ok Honey and so I pressed on , hoping that she wouldn’t find me doing a face plant on the concrete 😂 Well I got it all done, we had swim lessons for all the kiddos and then she says the grass is getting a bit long 😳 so hopped on the Zero Turn and knocked that off 😉 Busy day, I told her last night don’t expect to much from me on Wednesday 😃

What caliber? 22 Hornet?
GM Paul, 22-250 model 77 bolt action,SS barrel , yes I believe so ! I usually use Hornady 45 gr ammo. Will take a picture the next time I’m in Vt Paul.

Plans for today is to activate US-1718 Southford Falls state park this morning with my portable radio gear.

Not much more on the agenda than that 😉 I think this is the really last hot day.

Hope all have a blessed and safe day 🙏

Good morning, the low is 59 and going up to 72°F. Wind N 9 mph. A mix of sun and cloud. 72 is a more realistic temperature for around here at this time of year.

I might actually go outside and 'do' something today. Compost pile needs turning as does the wood pile. Takes two different buckets. Might. Time will tell.

Have a safe day all

Good Morning.
Already 72°, DP 71°, going to be another unbearable day outside with a high of 95 or more.
Yesterday’s trip made me thankful that the AC worked well in the plane. At 37,000 feet the temperature was 21°C above the standard temp. (-56°C), making it -35°, while cold enough to not need AC, definitely affects performance.

It was sunny and in the 90’s in Portland, it was still more comfortable than Philly.

While I got home in time to be productive, I accomplished little, and nothing outside, other than locking my neighbors chickens in their coop for the night while they are at the beach.

Not sure what I’ll accomplish today, I could do some mowing, but it’s not high on the list. I have some parts that I need to 3D print, an errand or two to run, but other than that it’s flexible.

Good morning! Cold outside at 64˚F heading to 100˚. Today is the coldest and hottest day this July. I need to trim some hedges while it is cool this morning.

Can anyone recommend a power pruner with extension pole? I need to buy one.

Also on the agenda put a coat of no-slip on the outdoor travertine.

70.5 this morning air quite heavy very humid high in lower 90s. More storms in the forecast.

When the nuclear facility was damaged in Japan we lost a lot of weather bouys and it would appear they have never been replaced. Rather be safe than sorry but projections for the tsunami were way off wonder if our being blind in that part of the Pacific had anything to do with it.

Have some busy work today other than that take the day as it comes. Thomas what brand of cigar?

Prayers for all our Country
