picked up Cody from the groomer and he is all pretty again guarding the tractors
The other day driving up into PA the Van got over 24 MPG. Not bad for a van that is 23 ft long and 9 ft high and is 17 years old with over 200K miles

It will turn a 24 inch piece! First project is my biggest hunk of wood I have. 20 x 6 piece of sycamore. Was very heavy putting it on there!

Good (Wednesday) morning. Overnight Low of 8.4C and it's presently 18.2C, fairly clear and calm.
Well, yesterday flew by; one more, last minute, sign location to attend to (that'll be the last one), then some election supplies collected on my way back. I'm all 'set' for Saturday/next week.
Anyway, it's 'into town' day for petrol and groceries, followed by preparing the house for guests (polling place assistants) for next week.
That's about it, take care all.

More deck work, fixed the end that was a little off, and got the end board cut. Forgot there is no tape under it.
Mowed front and side yard.
Got 6 more deck boards on, including the bowed one I showed a few days ago. I’ve had it on its side with bow up, and the sun the last few days took a lot of the bow out of it.
7 boards to go, only 3 still nailed down. Made a story board to run string down each board to keep them straight. Have a roofing nail at each board edge location, and just move the string every board.
Amazon delayed the joist tape shipment, all I can do right now is the end edge that needs to be cut around posts.
Might take a break tomorrow.

Well I got the dump/town run done. Uneventful. Got a care package done up for the company I just retired from. All 18 lbs of stuff that actually belongs to the company. They are paying for me to courier it down to them.
Tomorrow if it doesn't rain then I will be outside checking the pressure on my hydraulics, primarily the lift cylinders but I may do the power beyond on the rear as well as the curl cylinders. It should be 2600 psi, but I will see. That should tell me if my pump ($1900.oo+) is baked.

Good evening all. 53ºF for the start, mostly clear sky, light breeze. Light wind, variable clouds, and high temp was 84ºF. Made coffee to start day, Grief share, office work, bike ride, lunch, mow, nap, dinner, order CPAP motor. Bike shop called, rear derailleur trashed should be done soon.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 46° with partly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 72° with possibility of thunderstorms. To-Do list got a couple of item shorter yesterday. Finished weeding flower gardens. Vacuumed all the leaves out of gardens. Cut backyard grass. Sump pump outlet pipe appeared to be leaking water back into cellar. Dug out with a small garden shovel. Found a bad connection at a elbow. Cut it out and replaced with a new elbow. Not sure what I will get into today.

Morning all! 43 going to a sunny 67'
Was going to make a dump run with my father in law today and then some outside work.
Was having coffee with my buddy last night at his house. I got a text from my wife that she bit into a piece of chocolate and broke a cap off of one of her front teeth! She broke it the first time as a child.
Guess we will be searching for someone who can get a temp one made asap.
Found out a brother in law is in the hospital with a-fib. Will have to see how that's going.
My buddy that had the stroke was scheduled for surgery Monday but it couldn't be done. Waiting to hear about that too!
Not a good week for medical stuff!

mid fifties going up to high 70's, should be a nice day.
headed to dealership again, this time for wonky hvac.
pretty sure if this car breaks again, I'm going to trade it. Never had a vehicle with so many
things not working. Warranties are great but what a hassle.
brother will pick me up at dealership, hopefully will get a ride in his C8 with top "down" on way home.
I can get in and out with the top off a lot easier.
otherwise will be home all day without a car, will uber back this afternoon. So looks like a good day to
work outside.
when elderly lady across the street heard I was making tomato pots for friends, along with her bean pot,
can I have one too? You bet. I found some "cheap" three dollar tomatoes and will plant them for her.

they froze one spot and I'm coming back in three weeks anyway for full body scan. I grow stuff constantly, and after two
melanomas, not such a good thing. With my fused neck it's extra hard to see anything on my back.

Yesterday got sidetracked with a daughter visit so we all just enjoyed each others company and not much else got done.
Today is more round work, moving wood scraps and branches to the burn pile and the grass needs cutting. Got the front "yard" to do. Falling behind and it is only the third attempt at cutting for this season. LOL. Need to get the schedule back on track.

36F sunny day mid 60's for high.
Outside chores done E muffin time.
Stearn talk with NuBoo last evening,he/she decided get closer set and lay down near me 30-40 feet close enough,NuBoo making little huffing sounds walking away.
Plumber be here couple hours install all new fixtures and drains both bathrooms.
Plans for today...AM finish cleaning raking last section than back drag lower driveway,afternoon pming last riding mower from front to rear.

Dennis I used the Gorilla All Weather tape, it was suggested by a contractor friend. It should do the job for many years to come.

54 this morning going to low 80s with clouds and sun. Rain expected for the next couple of days.
Not much yesterday. Got some stuff together for the beach. Have to finish pack this morning and the transfer the stuff to the car and then heading to the beach until Fri at least.
I have to get moving soon. So...
