Ladies and gentleman. May I introduce you to GODZILLA!

Here is my old lathe next to the new one. Old one is almost the same size as the head unit on the new.

Wife and I used the tractor, two floor jacks and a rolling cart to get it into the shop and assembled.
Morning all!
Currently 43 going to a partly cloudy 72!
Out for breakfast this morning with the neighbor and after that we will be going out to visit some friends.
If we get back in time I want to mix up some bug killer and spray around the house. We had it done yearly by a company but they raised their price this year from 800 last to 1400! I already have a sprayer and the proper safety gear. The tech gave me the name of the product they used.
Rest of the day will be rebuilding the wood shop. Need to move quite a few things around to accommodate how big this lathe is.

Coffee has been poured cup. 39° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 64° with lots of sunshine. Got one 50' flower garden weeded before high winds started. Did not get leaf cleanup or grass cut. Will get more weeding done today. Then get leaf cleanup grass cutting done today.
Mrs. Duck has not shown up at garden pond for a couple of days.

62 heading to 82.

Phil, real nice looking machine. Can't wait to see your first project.

Worked on the grape arbor and made good progress. Also cut 3 more cedar posts from an old dead cedar. Made a dump run and hiked to the river for a Della swim, and she got to play with 2 black Labs along the way. Would like to finish the arbor today, but think it will take 2 more days.

42F partly cloudy day low 60's for high.

Outside chores done E muffin time.
Plans for today...8 hours at part store afterwards drop pickup off have snow tires swap for summer tires tomorrow,also check rear and front ends fluids,not what I'll do this evening.

rain showers last night never showed up, dry outside now and a warmer week ahead
probably will push the trimming mower today, grass is growing like mad

50 going up to 79 in sun and clouds today, should be a nice Spring day.

Good morning, the low is 33 and going to a high of 43°F. Wind SW 17 gusting to 26 mph. 40% chance of showers.
Rained most of yesterday.

Went to bed at 10 last night and got up at 3 this morning. Going back to bed right after this posts.

Dump/town run today about 11. The mail should be here by then. (Rural delivery) Going to go to two food stores to see if they have any Easter stuff on sale.

That is my day planned out.

62 outside right now, heading to mid 80's today. Hmm....no rain showed last night, it was expected.

Moved a few more rounds, around, cleaned up some more, but ran out of energy so I broke the mower out. Managed to get the back cut, before night time set in. Came in, made a pizza for all tuned into some hockey and called it a day. More of the same today, will have to get the weed whacker out though....not looking forward to that. Maybe I can go slow on the mower and eat the day up. LOL.

Rip, put the mower on cruise control at slightly slower rate than normal and
just enjoy the seat time. I find cruise slows me down vs tromping on hydro pedal to just go faster when you can.
but it is surely more relaxing.

time to get my golf shirts out for the warm day

Good morning TBN!!
59 this morning going to 77 or so with rain moving in about lunch time.

I decided yesterday the tank is done! Can't get anything more off the sides so I shoveled out leftover water and dirt. Then collected my equipment and got it back to the shop. Need to get a hold of my guy and make the arrangements to drop it in the river.
Probably not this week though. Looks like we are going to run down to the beach for a couple of days for wife's birthday. Hate to tell her it probably won't be "pretty".
Might have to dig out the metal detector and see if I can pay for the trip .
Looked at the mower for a bit. Probably have to tear in to it and get the carb cleaned. It is surging no matter the speed but I may have to wait and get an ultrasonic cleaner and try it out. I have wanted a bigger one with heat. Thinking about the HF one but of course no coupons or ant sales on them this week
That will probably wait until we get back too.

Time for a second cup
