Good Morning
42° and a mix of fog, mist and drizzle out there. Supposed to warm up to 70 with thunderstorms later in the day.

Yesterday was used up by getting a colonoscopy, had four polyps removed, but otherwise good. Tuesday, I got the pad for the shed leveled and stoned before the prep for yesterday’s adventure. The prep is definitely the worst part.

It was really too wet to do the pad, I made a bit of a mess, but was careful to minimize it. The shed comes next week, at least I’m ready for it now.

Don’t have a real plan for today, be interesting to see what comes up.

Good Morning,
Vt, 40 to start going to 63. Raining now, and last night I woke up to a thunderstorm about 2:30am. I could hear the rain pounding the roof. Hopefully I can get some work in this afternoon.

The last 2 mornings I woke up to the kitchen area being cold. We have a Dovre Heatilator DV 750LP stove , but for some reason the stove is not going on when the thermostat goes below the set temperature. I’m thinking either the gas valve is sticking or a faulty thermopile. Wish PopG was here, I’m sure he could diagnose the problem. I believe I can buy the replacement parts online but it would be nice to know exactly what the problem is first.

Today will be a slow start with the rain this morning. My body is pretty tired from the last couple of days. 😉

Hope all have a good day 🙏

I believe it's a B, and 1939, one of the first two hundred made.
Thanks. I see the "B" on the serial number plate but the tractor looks exactly like my "A" did. So now I'm just confused. This is a non-working tractor for the kids to play on at the "Adventure Farm". I wanted to get a sign in front of it describing it. Year, model, general uses back then. The "B" s I see online have the tricycle wheel set up. Were "B"s made with the front wheels in line with the rear wheels also? Drew I have not checked your links yet - next on my agenda.

Good morning! 73˚ S wind heading to the mid 80s cloudy.
The Strawberry patch is open at the Farm. Yesterday when I worked it rained and the only people out there were two school field trips. I had a few filled wagons and only got sprinkled on for about 30 minutes, but the gloomy skies kept the crowds away.

"The Farmall A and B were nearly identical tractors. The A featured an offset engine and wide front end. The B had a centered engine, seat offset to the right, and narrow front end." From Tractor Data.

Someone may have merged parts from one to the other. Based on the offset, it does appear to be an "A" with "B" seat bracket.

Morning all, 47 going to 73 and rain, well at least it's not 31 like yesterday with all this rain.
Some shenanigans this morning when son went to leave, will see what happened later. He was running around with his water gun so I guess it was part of the HS senior assassins thing.

Did get the dogs nails cut yesterday and she got a bone for being not too reasonably calm. Squirmy dog.

More paperwork, still trying to figure out who gets copies of the death cert.

I wish I had pictures of my neighbors IH in MA. The one we learned to drive a tractor on.
Probably still at their house, or rusting in the field. Haven't been up there since before my son was born.
Speaking of MA, my uncle fell again, need to call him today. This day job interferes with life too much

Be well,

Good Morning Don,

I’m thinking that someone replaced the housing to the left of the driver with an A housing. I think engineer pretty much stated the same thing. With the shorter rear housing it would make it look like an A. Really no difference other than that. IMO
